The curriculum

Five progressive stages.

The path is laid out as a sequence — each stage prepares the ground for the next. Students may join at the foundation, or, with permission, deeper in.

  1. 1

    Foundation

Shantideva's Bodhicaryavatara — compassion and bodhicitta as the ground of practice.

  2. 2

    Middle Way

Madhyamika — the philosophy of emptiness.

  3. 3

    Perfection of Wisdom

    Prajnaparamita literature and its commentaries.

  4. 4

    Mind Only

Yogacara — the Yogic Practice school.

  5. 5

    Great Perfection

Dzogchen — the heart-essence teachings of Maha Sandhi, transmitted in the Longchen Nyingthik lineage.
